DREAM: Art Meets Dreams
September 29 – May 5, 2019
Dream is the final part to complete the trilogy created and curated by Danilo Eccher, which began with Love (2016) followed by Enjoy (2017). These three exhibitions are a dedication to the most intimate human emotions represented through the contemporary art. This is an exhibition that sees “the dream” as an allegorical journey towards the most private part of the human soul, an element of reflection and expression that guides to the deepest areas of one’s soul. This exhibition is created as an experience that leads the public from the darkest zones to the meditative dimension and on to the heavenly spaces of the soul.
It is a journey that is physical, surreal, mental and dreamlike, leading the spectators through a series of stages and passages, stops and re-starts: from immersion in nature to a confrontation with shapes, from the evocation of personal and collective memories to contact with matter, from shadows, sounds, and darkness towards total immersion in light.
